The kids will be back in school, the leaves are changing and this is the perfect time to get a jump start on those fall and holiday quilt projects you've been wanting to work on. Join Michelle and other quilters at The Valley Inn, located in Waterville Valley in the beautiful White Mountains of NH.  We will have exclusive, round the clock use of function rooms.  Spacious guest rooms include free wifi, television, refrigerator, two beds and jetted tub. 

Mountain views, sunshine, colorful leaves and fresh air will inspire and invigorate your creative juices. 

Cost: $275 double occupancy; $350 single occupancy; triple occupancy $250 (you arrange for your own roommates for double and triple occupancy rates)

The retreat will be held at the award winning Bayside Resort in W. Yarmouth, MA (in the easy to get to, mid-Cape area. Bayside Resort has been named the Best Cape & Island Resort Hotel (Cape Cod Live Magazine) for 2012 and several years prior. Large, clean, updated rooms include 2 double beds, refrigerators, coffee makers, hair dryers, irons, free WiFi, free in-room movies & more.

Resort amenities include a large indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, well-equipped exercise room, game room, and bar. And expanded breakfast buffet is included daily.

Bayside Resort is just 7 minutes to Heartbeat Quilts & Joann's Fabrics & Crafts - and only 12 minutes to Tumbleweeds Quilt Shop. It is conveniently located on Rt. 28 in the mid-Cape area near Hyannis.

Retreat guests will have exclusive use of two large, well-lit function rooms. 2400 square feet! The rooms are available for use from noon on Friday until 3:00pm on Sunday. They are locked overnight, so you can leave everything out. Each guest will have her own 6' workspace table. Irons & ironing boards are provided; as well as design walls and cutting tables.

Michelle Tade Banton has been planning retreats and events for her quilt guilds, churches & school programs.  She has volunteered extensively with the New England Quilt Museum and has been a major organizer of the Lowell Quilt Festival - Images Quilt Show.  Michelle also owns a long arm machine quilting service and was just named a Handi Quilter My Story nation winner for 2011. Let her plan your "Quilt Escape to the Cape". All you need to do is bring your sewing machine, basic tools and fabrics - spend your quilting time QUILTING...not worrying about details. Michelle has taken care of that!
